2010 CANYON RUNNER RATES

Come fish with Canyon Runner Sport Fishing and see for yourself what has made us the most successful canyon fishing team on the planet. Our two crews are made up of 5 full time captains and mates that earn their living by putting you on fish.
Capt. Phil Dulanie alone has done 600 canyon trips in just the last 11 years. In his career - over 1000 canyon trips including 800 overnighter for a total of 1800 days in the canyon. Capt. Mark DeBlasio and Capt. Mark DeCabia each have over 600 canyon trips under their belts for combined total of 1200 canyon trips and another 2000 days on the edge. Before you book another boat ask if their crew has a combined 4000 days of time troll and chunking the canyons before giving them your hard earned money.
If our experience doesn't convince you than how about our fleet? Our vessels are simply the best charter boats you'll fish. The cornerstone of our fleet is our brand new 2008 60' Ritchie Howell - simply the finest charter boat on the east coast. She'll cruise at 32 knots thru anything. You'll enjoy a huge teak cockpit with mezzanine seating. Three staterooms and two full bathrooms. A full galley with sub-zero refrigeration, granite countertops, micrcowave and huge dinette. Two couches in the salon and 4 flat screen TVs finish off the yacht finished interior. Your ride back and forth to the edge can be broken up with satellite TV viewed on our 42" flat screen TV and satellite radio on our surround sound stereo.
Finally, and most importantly, we are not a fly-by-night charter operation. A Canyon Runner charter boat has been running to the edge for the past 28 years - Captain Dulanie for the past 38 years and Capt. DeBlasio for the past 30 years. We have our two big boats booked every single day running to the edge as long as the weather allows giving you the benefit of being with the team that always knows where the fish are because we are there every single day.
With today's increased fuel prices and struggling economy there seem to be plenty of new charter boats arriving on the scene that aren't real professional crews but just weekend warriors trying to have you pay some of their bills so they can go fishing for free. All we ask is for you to do your research before choosing who you book with to make sure you are getting what you deserve when you put your safety, your time, trust and your money on the line. And remember, if you try to compare our prices versus the fly-by-nighters - you get what you pay for.
In the end, we are here to put you on fish and make sure you have the time of your life. We will be here for another 30+ years and invite you to come along with us and enjoy the ride.

MIAMI, FLORIDA SAILS/SWORDS - JANUARY-APRIL - 60' RITCHIE HOWELL
Remember last winter, the bitter cold, the snow every other day, the misery? We do! This winter we want no part of it. As such, the Canyon Runner will be headed south for the winter of 2009-10. Immediately after Thanksgiving the crew of the Canyon Runner will set sail for Miami, Florida. Our goal - spend December through March in 80-degree weather, watching the girls in bikinis, and putting our charters into Sailfish and Swordfish just a few miles offshore of the Florida beaches.

***Full Surcharge - All prices for offshore trips are based on fuel at $2.50/gallon. Who knows where diesel will be in the Summer of 2010 - maybe is will approach $5 maybe not - current it is approaching $2.50 at the Marina so we will be basing the fuel surcharge at $2.50. To understand how high this is, when we first started charting our 48' Viking 11 years ago diesel was $0.89 and was at that level all thru the 1980s and 1990s. The price quoted is based on diesel at no more than $2.49. If diesel goes to $2.50 a gallon or more we will have to install a fuel surcharge calculated based on an additional $200 if diesel is $2.50 to $2.99; an additional $400 if diesel is $3.00 to $3.49; an additional $600 if diesel is $4.00 to $4.49. If diesel is $4.50 or more we will call you again and discuss if you still want to take the trip based on what the surcharge will have to be. 2008 was the first year we had to institute a fuel surcharge and we would like to thank each and every one of our charters for understanding - your support is GREATLY appreciated.
